DELMAR, N.Y. — The weather outside was freezing cold, but inside Bethlehem Central High School on Friday, the Watervliet boys’ varsity basketball team was feeling the heat in the first half of its road game versus the 11-1 Eagles. It took a little bit for the blaze to begin. The score was tied at seven more than halfway through the first quarter after Watervliet equalized with a two-point shot. Soon after, another bucket gave the Cannoneers a 9-7 lead. The scoring streak was set in motion, and senior Jack Sierra was at the center of it.
