NORTH SMITHFIELD – Prout’s boys basketball team came all the way back from a 16-point fourth-quarter deficit to take a brief lead against the second-place team in Division III on Tuesday night, but North Smithfield regained authority and claimed victory. The Crusaders lost 63-59 on the road – a game that looked like one to forget until the final eight minutes. Prout’s weaknesses were on full display.
