SHELBY — For one team it is a burning desire to not give up the throne of the Mid-Ohio Athletic Conference after seven straight years of owning it. For the other it’s about ushering in a new era in the MOAC by ending the streak and capturing a crown that it hopes to wear for a similar amount of time. That is what Thursday’s Clear Fork at Shelby girls basketball game represents. The up-and-coming Colts travel to the well-established Whippets to try and take a commanding two-game lead in the conference standings and give themselves a chance to clinch at least a share on Saturday.
