Romeo takes down Dakota, Woods-Tower to grab MAC Red Division lead

NEW BALTIMORE – A year ago, Romeo watched Macomb Dakota go undefeated in the Macomb Area Conference Red Division wrestling circles. Now, the Bulldogs are going after the crown. Romeo took down both defending champion Macomb Dakota (47-29) and Warren Woods-Tower (67-6) Wednesday night in a MAC Red Division quad meet to become the only school not to have a league loss in the MAC Red standings. Dakota also blanketed host New Baltimore Anchor Bay (66-9) and Woods-Tower edged Anchor Bay (41-38) to complete the four dual meets on this day.
