Tottenham head coach Thomas Frank has left Mathys Tel dumbfounded with his decision to omit him from Spurs' Champions League squad for the second time this season. The France youth international has struggled to make his mark in North London. Initially signed on loan from Bayern Munich, his move was made permanent in the summer for €35 million after Tottenham managed to renegotiate his price. He was originally slated to cost as much as €60m. Although Tel has featured 20 times so far this term, he has started just six Premier League games.
