Oregon State men fall apart in second half of home loss to Pacific

CORVALLIS — After a gritty first half fueled by its defensive activity, Oregon State men’s basketball slipped up in the second half and lost, 81-64, to Pacific on Saturday afternoon at Gill Coliseum. The Beavers (10-11, 3-5 WCC) took good care of the ball for the most part, committing just nine turnovers, but they allowed Pacific to shoot 54% including 43% from three. “Just lost after that one,” OSU coach Wayne Tinkle said. “Didn’t see that coming.
