EDITOR’S NOTE: Our Year of the Coach football series, covering myriad aspects of the profession at the high school, college and NFL levels, began last summer and winds to the Super Bowl. It’s “on” for the quarterbacks from Canton. Ben McDaniels is getting paid to beat his brother Josh, and vice versa, in the Texans-Patriots NFL playoff game at 3 p.m. Sunday. Ben, who quarterbacked Canton McKinley to OHSAA state championships in 1997 and ’98, is passing game coordinator for Houston, which is on a 12-2 hot streak. Josh, who quarterbacked the Bulldogs in the 100th McKinley-Massillon game in 1994, is offensive coordinator for New England, which is on a 13-1 roll. Their dad, Thom, is watching....
