COLLEGE FOOTBALL ODU signs ex-Washington State QB Old Dominion announced the signing of 6-5 former Washington State quarterback Jaxon Potter. From Huntington Beach, California, began the 2025 season as the Cougars’ starter but lost the job after being intercepted three times by North Texas. He threw two passes in 2024 as a backup. In 2025, he was 67 of 95 for 604 yards, four touchdowns and those three interceptions. He also had five carries for 8 yards. Vanderbilt landed a commitment from former Old Dominion wide receiver Ja’Cory Thomas, who had 41 receptions, 719 yards and five touchdowns in 2025.
