Indoor track: Howard, Rich set PRs to lead Frontier to win at PVIAC meet No. 4

Luke Howard placed first overall in the 2-mile for the Frontier Regional boys indoor track and field team in a 54-29 win over Hampshire Regional in Valley North action on Sunday at Smith College in Northampton. Howard’s time (nine minutes, 55.85 seconds) was a personal record. Howard blazed past the competition, finishing about 51 seconds ahead of the second-place finisher. Howard also placed third overall in the 1000-meter (2:48.99) for Frontier. Ezra Rich set a personal record for the Redhawks in the shot put, as well. Rich’s throw (42-11.25) was good for first place overall. Adrien Pazmandy scored points and placed fifth overall (6.93) in the 55-meter dash for the Redhawks....
