As crazy as that sounds, there’s truth behind the idea as the Royals enter the weekend 8-1 and undefeated in the North Coast Conference under first-year coach Kevin Byrne. Byrne is no stranger to success having coached Walsh Jesuit to an state elite eight appearance in 2022-23 and a 91-5 record in five seasons.
