Two dry spells in the second and third quarters ultimately proved to be too much of a hindrance for the Woodland High School girls basketball team to overcome as they lost Wednesday night’s home Golden Empire League matchup to Dixon 50-45. “I thought we played really well in that first half, but I think we just had a bit too many turnovers,” Wolves head coach Ariana Montez recalled. “It was a really intense game the entire time.
