The Fishing Year in Review for 2025

The year 2025 was a year of weather and/or whether. More often than not, fishing trips had to be molded around impending weather fronts that were as predictable as the winning lottery ticket. Then one had to gaze into the immediate future and decide whether or not to venture out on Long Island Sound (or beyond) to fish or turn inland to hit the sweet water. Before that, short blasts of snow hit the shoreline - even a taste or two of a nor-easter - brought the rumbling of snow plows.
