STURGIS — In a matchup of two of the stronger teams in Southwest Michigan, the Sturgis girls took care of business on Wednesday, Jan. 8. The Trojans were hosting Kalamazoo Christian and used a determined effort on both ends of the floor to earn a gritty 57-43 win over the visiting Comets. The win pushes Sturgis out to a 6-1 record on the season. The Trojans have won four games in a row after a buzzer-beating loss to Otsego early last month.
