BMR's Girard leading Chargers before serving her country with US Marine Corps

BLACKSTONE – Blackstone-Millville Regional senior Adrianna Girard knew from a young age that she wanted to pursue a career in the military. “It was just deciding which branch,” Girard said following a recent girls’ basketball practice. Last September, Girard enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps. “If I’m going to join the military,” Girard said, “I’m going to join the greatest fighting force and that’s the Marines.
