CSU Rams fall to 0-2 in Mountain West Conference play with loss to Nevada

FORT COLLINS — Despite one of its better defensive efforts of the season, poor shooting led to a 75-62 loss to Nevada for the Colorado State men’s basketball team Tuesday night at Moby Arena. CSU fell to 9-4 overall and 0-2 in Mountain West Conference play after shooting only 37% from the field against the Wolf Pack. The offensive woes were felt all over as the Rams made only 18 of 29 free throws and 8 of 22 3-pointers. CSU also played without leading scorer Kyle Jorgensen, who was injured in the team’s last game against Utah State and will likely miss multiple weeks.
