Josh Brooks 5 years as Georgia AD: Lasagnas, championships, growing with job

Two days before Christmas, the University of Georgia campus is pretty quiet. That includes the athletic department, where some tree removal is going on in the employee lot. And up on the fourth floor, in his Butts-Mehre office, Josh Brooks is working a half day ahead of the holiday. He’s wearing a Georgia sweatshirt, drinking a ginger ale and taking stock of an anniversary coming up. Brooks will mark five years as Georgia athletic director on Jan. 6.
