Wapakoneta earns trip to State baseball tournament For the third time in school history, Wapakoneta made a trip to the state baseball tournament after a 6-5 win over Toledo St. Francis in the Division III regional title game on July 5. Led by Marshall commit and Western Buckeye League Player of the Year Grant Jolly, the Redskins ended their season with a record of 22-6 after a 4-0 loss to Hunting Valley University School in the state semifinals.
