Monroe County wrestling heats up with Section V's top-ranked team leading the way

The Webster Schroeder Warriors have plans to go places in the Section V and state wrestling scenes this winter. One of their tour stops may be at the top of the Monroe County Championships this weekend. The Warriors, No. 1 in the New York USA Wrestling preseason rankings for Section V, are among the contenders to win the annual Chris Bourne Monroe County Championships. Wrestling at Schroeder starts on Dec. 19 and ends with the finals Dec. 20. “Our goal as a team is everybody gets on the (awards) podium," Schroeder coach Michiel Ciaburri said.
