Ben Wenzel, Taylor Schaefer add to in-state flavor of Wisconsin’s linebacker room

MADISON – The Wisconsin football program signed two linebackers who call the state home during the early signing period last week. Appleton North's Ben Wenzel was part of the signing-day hoopla, which focused on the Badgers' high school recruits. Brussels’ Taylor Schaefer signed, too. The graduate of Southern Door High School comes to the Badgers via the junior-college route. Are they part of a growing trend?
