It will be football practice with a side of turkey and dressing for the Rockmart Yellow Jackets again this season thanks to an all-out effort in the second round of the Class AA state playoffs. Tucker Parson threw for four touchdowns, three to favorite target Gavin Green, and Devin McCoy scored twice on the ground to lead Rockmart to a 48-18 win over Laney on Friday night at The Rock. With the game tied 6-6 after the first quarter, and with a steady rain falling for the rest of the first half, the Jackets scored three touchdowns to take a 27-12 lead into halftime that only grew from there.
