Sherman, Laing earn top weekly baseball honors
New Diana’s Mason Sherman and Sabine’s Kale Laing earned top baseball honors from the Longview News-Journal for games played March 9-14. Sherman is the Hitter of the Week, and Laing earned Pitcher of the week honors. Sherman hit .462 (6 for 13) in five games.
