WHS grad McCoy ready for D3 national wrestling tournament
Thane McCoy, an education major at Wilmington College, enjoys working with kids. He hopes, one day, to influence their lives in a positive way as a teacher. But he readily admits there are times when those kids impact his life. McCoy just recently started observing a class at Clinton-Massie Elementary School. “The kids are so funny,” said McCoy, a 2023 graduate of Wilmington High School. “I walked out of that school with a big smile on my face everyday.” Now McCoy, a WC sophomore, looks to walk away from the 2026 NCAA Division III...
