The rebuild at Eastern Greene football got a little tougher as far as the postseason goes, with the T-Birds just barely pushed up into Class 2A for the next two seasons. Eastern was on the wrong end of some math as the school's enrollment figure of 351 went up to only 352 but it was enough to push the school from the 261st biggest playing school to 252nd, the smallest in all of 2A save for state champion South Putnam and former champ Indianapolis Lutheran, which are forced to play up due to the IHSAA's Success Factor.
