JACKSON – In what was as back and forth a game as one could imagine, the defending state runners-up held strong. East Union eked past the Heidelberg Oilers 53-51 in double overtime on Wednesday morning in the MHSAA Class 2A girls state semifinals at the Mississippi Coliseum.
