Rookie center’s overtime goal leads Sharks past Winnipeg Jets
SAN JOSE – Michael Misa scored at the 1:40 mark of overtime to lift the San Jose Sharks to a 2-1 win over the Winnipeg Jets on Sunday before a sellout crowd of 17,435 at SAP Center. On the goal, Misa took a drop pass from William Eklund, skated into the Jets’ zone, fought off a check from defenseman Haydn Fleury, and beat goalie Connor Hellebuyck for his fourth goal of the season.
