Boys Hockey: No. 7-seed Warriors travel to STMA for quarterfinals

BRAINERD — Brainerd Warriors head coach Jerr Johnson returns to a familiar place to start the 2026 postseason. The No. 7-seeded Warriors will play the No. 2-seeded St. Michael-Albertville Knights in the Section 8-2A Quarterfinals Tuesday, Feb. 17, at STMA. Johnson coached at STMA for 17 years before returning home to Brainerd. The Warriors lost to the Knights 8-1 Dec. 20. Richard Pyle scored the lone goal for the Warriors in the first period.
