Former Perry Village Police Chief and Mayor Lee Lydic dies at age 89

Lee Lydic, who once served Perry Village as police chief and mayor, has died. Lydic’s death was announced on Feb. 12 by his oldest son, Jesse Lee Lydic. Lee died Feb. 11 at the age of 89. He had been residing at Meadow Falls of Saybrook, an assisted living facility in the Ashtabula County community of Saybrook Township.
