A capacity crowd is expected to be on hand when The News-Herald announces the winners of its highest football award recipients on Nov. 24. The annual football awards show, in conjunction with the Varsity Chalk Talk Show, is set for a 6 p.m. start at Hooley Pub & Grille in Mentor. The night’s festivities will be highlighted by the presentation of the Tony Fisher Award – which goes to The News-Herald’s player of the year – and the Bob Ritley Award – which goes to the coach of the year.
