ALLIANCE — Perry needed some time to adjust to the relentless attack of Holy Name in a Division IV regional semifinal on Oct. 29. The Pirates had flashes in the first two sets but couldn’t sustain any momentum. In the third, the Pirates found land, taking the set with their block coming up huge. But the Green Wave adjusted and started to grow confident again in the attack. A late surge by Holy Name propelled them to a 3-1 win and a return to the regional final.
