Danish police arrest scores in second night of protests over police-abuse allegations
Hundreds of protesters took to the streets in Dusseldorf to protest the government’s response to the mass shooting at a movie theatre in Aurora, Colorado, which left 12 dead and 53 injured.
In a statement, authorities in Denmark called for calm and warned that “any disturbance will be treated seriously”.

It’s been a chaotic protest from start to finish in Dusseldorf, a quiet, industrial town just north of the US state of Illinois.
It started at around 6pm with a procession in the centre of town and later moved into the city centre where crowds braved a freezing night temperatures of minus 22C.
As the afternoon wore on, the demonstration reached its peak. Some of those participating carried large posters saying “Justice for Aurora”.
The largest protest took place near a pol더킹카지노ice station in the Dusseldorf district, where marchers chanted “This is not your Aurora”, “We demand justice”.
It was the most violent demonstrations yet in Denmark after police used tear gas and rubber bullets on protesters in response to the shootings at a midnight screening of The Dark Knight Rises in which 12 people were killed by an armed gunman.
A police officer was injured by a protester as he tried to stop demonstrators throwing a petrol bomb through a window, and police fired rubber bullets at one marcher as he tried to run away.
Earlier on Friday, police in New York als바카라o deployed tear gas, pe더킹카지노pper spray and batons to disperse protests.
The country’s justice minister said his department was looking into whether to initiate criminal charges against protesters for attacks on police that sparked the violence in the US.
Protesters have demanded that the trial of Syed Rizwan Farook, one of the men accused of killing six people in the shooting at a movie theatre, be postponed and that the killer be tried in Germany.
