Father, Brother of Arsenal star earn FIFA Agent Licences to oversee his career

0 1

The father and brother of emerging Arsenal sensation Max Dowman have obtained official agent licences from FIFA as the family prepares to oversee the teenager’s rapidly rising football career.

Rob Dowman, the player’s father, and his elder brother Ethan Dowman successfully passed FIFA’s agent examination, enabling them to formally represent the highly rated midfielder.

The move comes as the family seeks to maintain close control over the youngster’s career following his breakthrough into Arsenal’s first team.

Dowman has been one of the standout young talents in the Gunners’ ranks this season, impressing at both youth and senior levels.

The 16-year-old, who recently returned from injury, has delivered strong performances in the Premier League 2, scoring twice in three appearances.

The England youth international has also been prolific in the UEFA Youth League, where he has netted four goals in just two matches, further underlining his status as one of the club’s most promising prospects.

His impressive displays at youth level quickly caught the attention of Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta, who has gradually introduced him into the senior squad.

Dowman has already repaid that faith with a memorable moment in the first team. The youngster scored the decisive goal as Arsenal recorded a 2–0 victory over Everton at the Emirates Stadium.

With that strike, Dowman etched his name into the record books by becoming the youngest goalscorer in the Premier League at just 16 years and 73 days.

According to a report by the Guardian, Dowman’s father and brother pursued FIFA agent certification after the family received numerous approaches from professional agents eager to represent the teenager following his Arsenal debut at the age of 15 in August 2025.

Despite the strong interest, the Dowman family has decided against signing with a major representation agency for now, opting instead to manage the player’s career internally.

The midfielder has already taken an important contractual step with the club, signing a pre-contract agreement with Arsenal in January. The deal will automatically convert into his first professional contract when he turns 17 on December 31.

Negotiations for the agreement were handled by the sports, media and entertainment legal firm Onside Law.

With their new FIFA credentials, Rob and Ethan Dowman will also be able to represent Max in future contractual discussions and commercial negotiations.

Meanwhile, the teenager is expected to continue balancing appearances for Arsenal’s youth teams with increasing involvement in the first team as he seeks to build on his impressive start at the club.
