"I do dream": £26m Brazilian star eyeing move to Europe, Arsenal have contacted his club
Brazilian midfielder Breno Bidon has opened the door for a move to Europe amid interest from Arsenal.
The 21-year-old has made a big impression with Corinthians over the last 12 months, and the Gunners have been credited with an interest in signing him.
In an interview with TNT Sports Brazil, Bidon has now acknowledged his desire to play in Europe and the Champions League. He dreams to move abroad.
He said: “I do dream about playing in Europe. It has been a dream since I was a kid – to play in Europe, to play in the Champions League, to play, like I said, in a World Cup.
“It has been a dream since I was young. I do have that desire. I do not know when the moment will come, but I do have that desire to play abroad.”
Arsenal could consider a summer move for Bidon
Bidon has the ability to play anywhere in midfield. He has operated as a defensive, central and attacking midfielder for Corinthians over the past year.
In the 2025 season, the youngster completed 88 percent of his passes in the Brazilian Serie A. He also won five duels per outing with four recoveries.
His playing style is quite similar to Crystal Palace’s Adam Wharton. Bidon is a forward-thinking midfielder who has caught the eye with his range of quality distribution.
Corinthians are eyeing at least £26 million for the Brazilian, having turned down a proposal worth £13m from Sporting CP at the beginning of the year.
Arsenal may not make such a big outlay on Bidon, and will hope to reach a middle ground on the fee. A package of £20m plus add-ons would be ideal.
The Gunners have already asked for information on the young midfielder, and it remains to be seen whether the club proceed with a formal approach.
Bidon, on his part, has confirmed his desire to pursue a career in Europe with a Champions League outfit.
