Al-Hilal could tempt RB Leipzig with a sensational offer for Arsenal striking target Benjamin Sesko, according to the Sun.

The billionaire-owned Saudi Pro League club have turned their sights to the Slovenian after other striking targets turned them down, and they have been boosted in their pursuit as the Gunners appear to have withdrawn interest in him.

Leipzig want around £77 million (€90m) for Sesko, but Arsenal have been unwilling to do business for that amount and have moved on to Sporting CP hitman Viktor Gyokeres.

Al-Hilal are ready to meet their demands, but it remains to be seen whether the 22-year-old is open to joining them.

Sesko wants Arsenal, but agreeing personal terms with him has proven tricky for the Gunners amid a lack of compromise between both clubs over a fee.

He will not be moving to the North London club this summer from the look of things, although agreeing the payment structure with Sporting for Gyokeres has also been a problem for Arsenal in recent days.

The Gunners want to pay an initial €65m as a fixed fee with €5m plus €10m in add-ons, but the Portuguese top-flight club want at least €70m as a fixed package with €10m in add-ons.

Both clubs will likely reach a middle ground in the coming days, and Sesko will need to look elsewhere if he is interested in plying his trade at another club next season.

Al-Hilal will be waiting as Arsenal are unlikely to return for him, and the youngster has a huge choice to make in the coming days.

The Gunners may need to agree to the demands of Sporting if they want the Sweden international striker as it appears the Portuguese do not want to sell him for their asking price, and some interest days are ahead as pre-season preparations for 2025-26 get underway.
