England international star Bukayo Saka has now agreed a new contract with Arsenal, with only an official announcement to confirm it left, according to Team News and Ticks on Patreon.

The BBC claimed in March that the North Londoners were set to open formal contract talks with Saka as he approached the final two years of his existing deal.

The Arsenal star will be out of a contract at the end of the 2026-27 campaign, but it appears that talks over a long-term deal have been successful and an announcement is imminent.

Saka has been with the Gunners since 2008, signing his professional deal in 2018 and has gone on to make 257 appearances for the club since then, establishing himself as a key player for them and the Three Lions.

Arsenal fans will be eagerly looking forward to an official confirmation from the club regarding his contract extension, but everyone at the Emirates Stadium club are currently focusing on the semi-finals of the Champions League against Paris Saint-Germain.

The Gunners host the Ligue 1 champions tomorrow in the first-leg before travelling to Parc des Princes next Wednesday for the return-leg.

Arsenal are hoping to reach the final of the competition for the first time since 2006 and also win it for the first time in their history, and Saka will be desperate to impress and lead his childhood club to glory.

The club are also hoping to get both Gabriel Magalhaes and William Saliba to sign new deals, and successfully holding on to their key players for as long as possible would boost their chances of becoming regular Premier League and Champions League winners going forward.
