He made four appearances for the National League club, with widespread postponements damaging his chances to play more often. The goalkeeper also found himself on the bench fairly often, joining the substitutes for the last four league games that Dover Athletic actually managed to complete. Arsenal will presumably try to find the teenager a more suitable loan for the second half of the season, as Smith has a lot of competition for games with the u23s right now.
