Santini kit dedicated to the third stage of the 2024 Tour de France unveiled today in Turin

Santini Cycling, official partner of the Tour de France, presented the new cycling outfit dedicated to the city of Turin that this year will host the arrival of the third stage of the Grande Boucle.

A meeting between Stefano Lo Russo, Mayor of the City of Turin, Domenico Carretta, Councillor for Sport, Major Events and Tourism, and Monica Santini, CEO of Santini Cycling, was held today in the Marble Room of the Turin City Hall for the presentation of the Santini jersey dedicated to the third stage of the Tour de France.

During this meeting with the media, the company Santini Cycling, official partner of the Tour de France since 2022, symbolically handed the Mayor the jersey developed as a tribute to the city of Turin, which will host the arrival of the third stage this year.

«With this kit, we wanted to honor Turin, capturing the spirit of the Savoy city - stated Monica Santini, CEO of Santini Cycling. The Torino jersey celebrates the city by incorporating its distinctive symbols, the Mole Antonelliana and the bull. The 'Torino' inscription on the front reflects the grandeur of Italy’s first capital. Additionally, the back features four stylized figures of cyclists, with the first, in vibrant yellow, paying homage to the prestigious Yellow Jersey».

The jersey, along with matching bib shorts, is part of a technical cycling kit from the Italian - based brand’s annual collection, which celebrates certain stages of the Grande Boucle and tells the story of the places it passes through.

Technically, the jersey offers a classic fit made from Race fabric on the front and back, with mesh on the sides and raw-cut sleeves, creating a highly breathable garment. The bib shorts are made from medium compression fabric and feature leg grips to keep them in place and mesh bib straps for breathability. The GITevo chamois features a gel core to gradually absorb shocks and ensure maximum comfort on long rides.
