New dates for 2026 European U20 Water Polo Championships announced

European Aquatics has announced an updated schedule for the men’s and women’s 2026 European U20 Water Polo Championships, following adjustments made to the World Aquatics calendar.

The new dates for the tournaments – which will both be held in Coimbra, Portugal – are as follows:

• Women’s Championships: 3–9 August 2026
• Men’s Championships: 10–16 August 2026

All European Aquatics federations have been notified of the changes and have been asked to confirm their entry by Tuesday, 28 October 2025.

The official draw ceremony for both championships will take place on Monday, 17 November 2025.

Previously, the dates for the Women’s Championships were 25 July-1 August and the Men’s Championships 24-30 August.
