Team Annoucement – European Aquatics U18 Water Polo Championships (Girls)
Swim Ireland is proud to announce the selection of the Under 18 girl’s Water Squad that will represent the nation at the upcoming European Aquatics U18 Water Polo Championships, taking place from 31st August to the 7th September 2025 in Gzira, Malta.
Following a selection process and months of dedicated preparation, National Head Coach Goran Sablic has confirmed the final squad of 14 athletes and 3 team staff who will represent Ireland in this prestigious continental competition.
Over the next two months, the squad will continue working together with several intensive national programme training sessions as they make their final preparations for these significant international championships.
Speaking on the selection, National Head Coach Goran Sablic said, “I’m incredibly proud to announce the girls selected to represent Ireland at the U18 European Championships in Malta. Their hard work, dedication, and team spirit have truly stood out. We now shift our focus to the upcoming preparation sessions, where we’ll fine-tune our game and build even stronger cohesion. I have every confidence this group will represent us with pride both in and out of the pool.”
