European Masters Water Polo draw made in Rome

The chair of the LEN Masters’ Committee, Hordur Oddfrídarson (ISL) visited Rome together with LEN’s Operations Manager Marco Birri, Claudio Tommasi and Roberto Migliori, representing the Roma 2022 Masters Championships organising committee, for the draw of the water polo competition at the European Masters.

The event will takes place from 24 August to 4 September in Italy.

The women’s competition will see the return of 2018 champions Stepp Praha from the Czech Republic in a five-strong group featuring former medal-winners Essen Masters and home side Pro Recco.

46 teams will contest the men’s competition with squads split across six groups.
