Shalom Water Polo community,

On behalf of the Israeli Water Polo Association (ISRWP) and the local organizing committee, I am glad to welcome the national teams of the LEN European U-19 Women’s Water Polo Championships, which will take place at the Wingate Institute in Netanya, Israel.

In 2021, for the first time, Israel hosted an international Water Polo tournament – the FINA world U-20 women’s Water Polo championships. The event was very successful, and we are doing our utmost that these upcoming games will reach the same heights.
I would like to thank LEN for the honour given to the Israeli Water polo association to host this significant event.
We are excited to host in Israel 17 European national teams and guests. I thank the players, coaches, professional assistants and team managers for their participation and cooperation.
In addition, I would like to thank the Ministry of Sport and Culture headed by Minister Hili Tropper, the city of Netanya and its Mayor Mrs. Miriam Feirberg and all our sponsors for supporting throughout this special event. Our local organizing committee (LOC) is doing its best to prepare all needed services for the participants. Basic information about the venue and training facilities, will be provided hereinafter.
We would like to wish you all, successful championships and a delightful time in Israel.

Kind regards,
Revital Gluska Cohen
President of the Israel Water Polo Association
