Australia edges Canada at the FINA World League Super Final.

(June 8, 2019 – Budapest, Hungary) – The Canadian women lost to the Australians on the fifth day of competition at the 2019 FINA World League Super Final in Budapest, Hungary. After taking the lead in the first quarter, the Canadian women were never able to overcome a six-goal run by the Australians in the second and third quarter. Australia added six more goals in the final quarter to record a 15-9 win to move on to the 5th place game. The Canadians will measure themselves against China in the seventh-place match tomorrow.
