Introducing our new High Performance Plan for Beach Volleyball!

We are proud to launch our new Beach Volleyball High Performance Plan, approved by the Volleyball BC Board of Directors in October 2025. 

This Plan aims to articulate Volleyball BC’s role and objectives for high performance beach volleyball programming, training, development, and support.  Overseen by the Beach High Performance Advisory Committee, the Plan is the result of consultation with key stakeholders in the beach volleyball community and we would like to extend our gratitude and appreciation to all who participated in this process.

The Plan includes 5 key goals that include supporting beach volleyball clubs, enhancing coach expertise, enabling access to beach facilities, expanding competitive opportunities, and supporting top athletes.  Delivery of the Plan will take place over 4 years.  In 2026, our priorities will be to:

• Appoint a contracted program manager to deliver the Team BC Beach Volleyball Program and coordinate the plan deliverables.
• Develop beach volleyball promotional and technical resources.
• Create and design beach volleyball coach training module
• Recruit and train 2 beach volleyball Coach Developers
