Washburn volleyball jumps 10 spots to No. 12 in AVCA poll

TOPEKA (KSNT) - Washburn volleyball is off to a fast start to the 2025 season. 

After the Ichabods went 4-0 at the Oredigger Volleyball Classic, Washburn jumped 10 spots from No. 22 to No. 12 in the AVCA Coaches Poll.

The Ichabods now turn its attention to the weekend and will host the Washburn Invitational.

Washburn will play Truman State at 11 a.m., followed by Minnesota State University Moorhead at 5 p.m. on Friday. 

The Ichabods will then resume play Saturday against Newman University (10 a.m.) and William Jewell College (6 p.m.)
