Coaching Staff Excellence

Head Coach Craig Skinner, entering his 21st season with a record of 468-154, leads the Kentucky volleyball program. Under his guidance, the team achieved a historic NCAA National Championship in 2020, marking the first for an SEC volleyball team. Skinner’s accolades include multiple SEC Coach of the Year awards and recognition as the AVCA National Coach of the Year.

The coaching staff also features Amaya Tillman, a former AVCA All-American and two-time ACC Defensive Player of the Year. Tillman’s experience as a standout player at Louisville brings valuable insight to the program. Other key staff members include Associate Head Coach Kyle Luongo, Assistant Coach Merideth Jewell, and Director of Volleyball Operations Kristen Sanford Vicini.

Facilities and Camp Environment

All camps are conducted in the gyms across the University of Kentucky campus, providing participants with access to top-tier facilities. The environment is designed to simulate collegiate-level training, offering campers a glimpse into the demands and expectations of higher-level volleyball.

Community Impact and Engagement

These summer camps not only shape the skills of young athletes but also energize the entire local volleyball scene—from families attending matches to alumni following new prospects.

As public interest around these events grows, especially during high-visibility training periods, platforms related to Kentucky sports betting have become more attuned to the rhythms of volleyball season, responding to increased attention surrounding camp standouts and team potential.

Registration and Policies

All individual camps are open to students entering grades 5 through 12. Space is limited, and early registration is encouraged to secure a spot. Full payment or specified deposits are required at the time of online registration. A $40 processing fee applies to cancellations.
