Top 3 seeds on each side into Sunday’s AVP Manhattan Beach Open semifinals

The three top seeds and eighth-seeded Toni Rodriguez and Geena Urango are set for Sunday’s AVP Manhattan Beach women’s semifinals.

On the men’s side, the top three seeds are also into the semis with fifth-seeded Olympians Chase Budinger and Miles Evans.

Sunday’s schedule, with all times Pacific:

9:30 a.m. — Top-seeded Theo Brunner and Trevor Crabb vs. second-seeded and defending champions Taylor Crabb and Taylor Sander 

9:30 a.m. — Budinger-Evans vs. fellow Olympians third-seeded Andy Benesh and Miles Partain.

10:30 a.m. — Top-seeded Olympians Kristen Nuss and Taryn Kloth vs. Rodriguez-Urango 

10:30 a.m. — Second-seeded Olympians Kelly Cheng and Sara Hughes vs. third-seeded and defending champions Betsi Flint and Julia Scoles
