[Men's Volleyball] Krzyzak & Lopuch Named NAIA All-Americans

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Freshman opposite hitter Oskar Krzyzak (Rzeszow, Poland/Szkota Mistrzostwa Sportowego Rzeszow) and freshman outside hitter Jan Lopuch (Krakow, Poland/I Liceum Ogolnoksztalcace Sportowe) both were named NAIA All-Americans for the No. 10 ranked Saint Xavier University men's volleyball team (23-5/12-1 CCAC) when the awards were announced by the national office Tuesday morning. They are the fifth and sixth players, respectively, in team history to earn NAIA All-American recognition. Former standout Grant Ooms (2020-22) was the first Cougar to be named an All-American, claiming Second Team honors in 2020 and Honorable Mention in 2021. Aaron Kummer (2017-21) was the first player to earn First Team honors in 2021 and junior Shane Ooms (Shorewood, Ill./Minooka Community) was Second Team that season. Current graduate assistant Joe Lock (2022) was a First Team All-American a season ago.
