[Volleyball] Cornerstone Wins Women's Volleyball Championship

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - Cornerstone marched through the 2022 season to win the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) regular-season championship with a perfect 20-0 league record. Its the 14th time a team has blanked opponents for an undefeated conference season. The Golden Eagles, now home to seven titles, will be the top seed in the upcoming WHAC Tournament.

Siena Heights finished second at 18-2 with the two losses coming at the hands of Cornerstone. It's the highest finish for the Saints since ended the 2017 campaign in second place in the West Division, the one and only year the WHAC was divided into divisions. Indiana Tech posted a 14-6 WHAC record for third place while defending champion Madonna landed in fourth at 11-9. UM-Dearborn rounded out the top 5 with a 10-10 record.

With the championship, Cornerstone receives the league's first automatic berth to the NAIA National Championship Opening Round.
