[Volleyball] Hackett Hits Milestone; SXU Falls in Five Sets to TIU

CHICAGO – Senior outside hitter Molly Hackett (Frankfort, Ill./UNC Asheville/Mercer/Lincoln-Way East) came away with a career-high 21 kills, along with five digs and two assists, however the Saint Xavier University women's volleyball team (20-8, 15-2 CCAC) lost its regular season finale to Trinity International University (Ill.) in five sets (22-25, 27-25, 12-25, 25-20, 12-15) in Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) action Thursday evening at the Shannon Center in Chicago, Ill. It's the second time this season that Hackett has had 20 or more kills in a match, after posting 20 kills at Indiana University Northwest on October 25. Despite the loss, the Cougars will enter the CCAC Tournament as the No. 1 seed that begins on Tuesday, November 8.
