[Volleyball] Three Falcons Earn All-KCAC Honors

WICHITA, Kan. — Friends University senior Sarah Lazar-St. John (SR/Rose Hill, Kan. ), freshman Antonia Perier (FR/Bakersfield, Calif.), and senior Rheagan Hoover (SR/Pratt, Kan. ) have each received All-KCAC honors, the league announced today.

A native of Rose Hill, Kan., Lazar-St. John finished second on the team with 274 kills and a team-high 110 total blocks to earn All-KCAC first-team honors. Her season was highlighted by a career-high 19-kill performance on Senior Day against Southwestern while hitting a staggering .487.

A second-team All-KCAC selection, Perier led the Falcons in both digs (624) and service aces (36) while posting 5.57 digs per set. Perier also had a career-best performance in the match against Southwestern, anchoring the defense with 48 digs. 

Hoover grabbed All-KCAC third-team honors after finishing the season with a team-high 278 kills and 83 total blocks. Hoover also set a career-high in kills (22) in the Senior Day victory over Southwestern, then bested that mark four days later with 23 kills against Avila. 

Senior Sydney Ruth (SR/Coalinga, Calif. ) was also named the Falcons' KCAC Champions of Character award winner.
