[Volleyball] Atton leads Saint Xavier past Roosevelt, 3-0

CHICAGO – Senior outside hitter Nadia Atton (Midland, Mich./Northwood/Hebert Henry Dow) collected 17 kills on a .414 attack percentage (17-5-29) and added five digs to help give the Saint Xavier University women's volleyball team (16-2, 10-0 CCAC) a three-set victory (25-23, 25-14, 25-17) over Roosevelt University (Ill.) in Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) action Thursday evening at the Goodman Center Chicago. The match was originally scheduled for October 2, but the Lakers didn't have enough time to practice after a quarantine was lifted for COVID-19. The Cougars had a team attack percentage of .315 (47-18-92) and it was the fifth time this season that SXU had an attack percentage of .300 or better. It was also the third time in the last four matches that Saint Xavier has posted a .300 or better attack percentage.
